REGARDE!
BACKGROUND
Tlhe first congolese migrant have been residing in ireland for the past 15 years . Despite the length of time in this country we bitterly found and according to various statistics that congolese women are experencing challanges to integrate within the society.
When we speak about integration we consider the following facts:
How many of our women have their leaving certificate?
How many of our women re-obteint their leaving certificat to start over new life?
How many of our women are workinf full ime ? and how many are not working ?
How many of our women are at home looking after their children ?
How many of our women are home without a specific occupation?
Our research both from our personal experience in mixing with our fellow Congolese patriots and existing statistics show that:
Languge barrier is the main cause of lack of integration
Lact of successful , congolese women as role model to other and inspire them into action .
The loss of identity tprevent the congolese women to stretch ourt thenselves to live according to who they really are, for most of their husbands are lost thenselves
Our wome feel helpless and give up any effort for a better life
Lack of structure within the community , able to provide various training such as language tuition
Lack ok stroug leadership among women with a vision and concern for integration of congolese women in the society .
The congolese girls are victims of lack of model from their mothers who are lost and purposeless
The congolese women don't show interest much about issues affecting other women in the Democratuc Republic of Congo such Violence, injustice and marginalisation.
